He partners After The Sunset for trainer Clive Cox in the Ladbrokes Maiden Stakes (18.45), and, following a promising third at the same racecourse last month, the four-year-old holds a good chance of giving his jockey a winning start.

Cox said of the colt: "I am sure he will stay further, but felt another run over seven furlongs would be a good step forwards. I'm hopeful he will soon be losing his maiden tag."

Tomorrow Atzeni heads to Lingfield where his Qatar Racing mounts are the Stuart Williams-trainedLimerick Lord (13.25) and Halation (15.45), who is under the care of David Simcock.
